History
This program was inspired after reading an article written
in a publication (73 Amateur Radio May 1988) by Roger M. Johnson
WB0GAI.I used the program that was published and enjoyed it a lot!
I then decided that I wanted to do more with the PK-232
then I could do with the program I was now using.
I wanted a program that could use one of two communications ports.
I wanted to use any printer port.
I wanted to be able to have the program work with any printer that
was available to the PK-232.
I wanted to have the program run on a normal speed IBM or clone
computer.(4Mhz)
I wanted to be able to print the picture on a printer,to the screen,
and to a disk at the same time if I wished.
I wanted to be able to have the program work with mono systems as well
as color.
Ah but what I wanted took work!
My program called WB3DBUFX is my first version and has been working for
a month now.It is part machine language and part basic programming
language. It has all the features listed above and has room for expansion.
If I had realized that it was this hard I probably would of stuck to
store bought items but alas to late!! (Crash course in machine language
interfacing to Quick basic)
I wish to thank Hugh Day who patiently answered my questions
and helped me to interpret the interface routines from the book.
I hope that others may enjoy this program and send comments to
me as to problems or suggestions to make improvements.Good luck !!!

ON THE SUB - MENU .THEN HIT `F10' TO SAVE THE CHANGE.
